This is large advertising agency’s web site. Odeo is probably agencies such as production, commercial photo and so forth. Odeon’s site is made by all Flash, but it seems to me that this is XHTML + CSS. Web design looks like to use css as it were. In addition, this web was awarded at Interactive&Alternative Media Awards. This design motif is taken from the image of old U.S.A? Seemingly, luxury　liner. Anyway, good web design!

A little Privacy-WordPress.com

 We can choose the stealth mode or public mode in WordPress.com. It is a simple idea, but it seems to me that we can't have ant choise to publish or not in other blog system. If we have not right to access the data base at one blog, we can't do anything. But, for wordpress.com, If we are not goning to open blog in public, we choose stealth mode. It is important for us to be able to choose, and it is a good thing that there is a room to choose what we can prevent from UA browser scroll to get every information without our permission.

Last night we rolled out the first pass at our basic privacy functions. There is now a checkbox on your General Options page that says “I would like my blog to appear in search engines like Google and Technorati, and in public listings around WordPress.com.” If you uncheck this, you will put your blog into “stealth” mode.

This is hybrid XHTML web design, but this fail to pass the W3C standards including XHTML and CSS. Although this is not web standard, I like this design. It seems to me that this web have goo design and sense.

Google PageRank Prediction

Google PageRank Predictionが現在のGoogle　PageRankと今後のGoogle PageRankを弾いてくれる。みてみると3から5や2から6、はてはGoogle PageRankが2から10へあがるというものまである。10はさすがにないでしょう。どういう理由で導き出しているのかはなぞだ。でもだいたいのPage Rankはかわらないまま。あんまり、あてにはなりそうもないが、Page Rankが上がる見込みがあるというのはうれしいものだ。

MAC × Windows

MACがオープンソースでWidowsのアプリケーションをつかるソフトを配布したらしい。MacがIntelのDualコアを搭載し、WidowsのアプリケーションまでMACで使えるとなれば、MACに切り替えることに対してためらわれていた障害がなくなる。今度パソコン買うときはMACにしよう。そんなユーザーも多いだろうな。
